The predecessor of Hong Kong Ho Chi Kung Pharmaceutical Factory Co., Ltd., Ho Chi Kung Pharmaceutical Factory, was founded in 1935 by the founder Mr. Ho Sin Yuen (also known as Ho Chi Kung) in Changsha City, Hunan Province, China. The main products include a variety of Western medicines and Chinese patent medicines including analgesics. In the following years, pharmaceutical factories in Shanghai and Guangzhou were also established one after another, and the head office was relocated in Guangzhou in 1938. The factory was located at Dongshenfang, Longjin Road, Xiguan, Guangzhou. Later, he built a building on Shangxiajiu Road in Guangzhou as a factory building. Since then, the products have been sold domestically and in the Asia-Pacific region.

In 1949, the founder, Mr. Ho Sin Yuen, moved the pharmaceutical factory from mainland China to Hong Kong and named it Hong Kong Ho Chi Kung Pharmaceutical Factory. The factory was located in Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It continued to produce a variety of "Ho Chi Kung" brand Western medicines, including painkillers. and Chinese patent medicines, and vigorously developed business in Southeast Asia and the world.
