Dementia caregivers should pay attention to the "Youli Trace" APP + "Guard Trace" device = a new concept of person tracing
Everyone has tried to get lost. Whether we check online maps, ask for directions, or continue to "find the way" on our own, we always have a way to solve it. However, what will happen to us when one day we lose the ability to "find the way"? What will the mood be like?
People with dementia are those who have lost the ability to "find their way around". As a caregiver, if a family member is lost one day, is there any way to launch an "immediate search operation"?
In addition to calling the police, posting street signs, and handing the Octopus holder's information to the bus company, caregivers can now also participate in the pilot project of the "Jockey Club "Youli Trace" Community Project": apply for a free "Guard Trace" device for their family members. And download the "Youli Traces" APP to become a "Elderly Traces Angel".
The "Guard Tracker" device can be worn by people with dementia. Once a missing incident occurs, the "Angels for the Elderly" will receive a push notification of the missing person in the APP, and then turn on the Bluetooth and location functions to have the opportunity to assist. The caregivers know the approximate location of the person with dementia so that the lost person can return home safely as soon as possible.
